Administrative Experience

Aug 2002-Present, University of Pittsburgh, Office of the Provost
Director, PITT ARTS. Promoted to direct PITT ARTS, developing, implementing and overseeing 110 arts-related programs per year for Pitt undergraduates, supervising staff, interfacing with administration and faculty, and over forty-five arts and cultural organizations, as well as managing research, gift, and operations budgets; writing grants and fundraising on behalf of PITT ARTS; marketing the program via print and electronic media, and developing contacts with the press.

Feb 2001-Aug 2002, University of Pittsburgh, Office of the Provost
Arts Education Coordinator, PITT ARTS.  Collaborated with eight Pittsburgh arts organizations to develop comprehensive socio-educational arts programming for Pitt undergraduates in a two-year project grant funded by the Heinz Endowments.  Managed budget and supervised staff. 

August 1997 to May 2002, Penn State University, Beaver Campus
Developer and Director of the Penn State Beaver Visiting Writers Series which offered both student and professional readings of poetry and fiction. 
Editor of Palimpsest Review, a Penn State University-wide student literary publication.
